Job Information

Job Title:  Education MEAL Assistant.

Location: Aden with regular visit to Lahj.

Contract Type: Full Time.

Contract Duration: 6 Months.

Start Date: As soon as possible.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting on preparing projects’ M&E plans, indicators, and mechanisms to collect data in line with project plans and budgets.
  2. Conducting PDM, Satisfaction survey, FGDs.
  3. Responsible for all the processes of conducting assessments starting from (gathering the secondary data, planning to conduct surveys, selecting samples, developing data collection tools, training the enumerators, collecting and analyzing the data, writing reports as well.
  4. Supervise data entry of monitoring forms to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  5. Conduct field visits to the implementing project’s locations.
  6. Review all the project reports and provide feedback if any.
  7. Track outputs and expected results of ongoing projects and present the findings to projects and line managers at monthly meetings.
  8. Write periodic monitoring, field visit, and assessment reports and share them to the Line Manager.
  9. Periodic update of the indicator project tracking tables (IPTT).
  10. Ensure all the humanitarian assistance reached the most vulnerable people.
  11. Ensure that SOUL’s CRM is implemented and encourage the beneficiaries to send the complaints and recommendations by SOUL complaints tools (Hotline, Complaint boxes…etc.). 
  12. Send the complaints that are sent by the complaint boxes to the Accountability Officer.
  13. Ensure that all the beneficiaries’ information and complaints will be treated confidentially.
  14. Monitor the application of the ERP system and documents comments.


Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in social science Statistics IT, business management, or any other relevant field.
  2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in MEAL activities preferably related to the education activities.
  3. Experience in non-formal education.
  4. Knowledge and demonstrated capacity of databases: SPSS, Excel, and Google form are an asset.
  5. Good analytical, and excellent oral communication, teamwork, and people skills.
  6. Familiarity with data collection tools, data processing and analysis, and monitoring techniques is a plus.
  7. Good of both Arabic and English languages.
  8. Very good command of MS Office applications.
